We are excited to announce that on January 2, 2011, Ein Bustan Germany e.V was founded! Our supporters in Germany established an official non-profit association whose purpose is to support the vision and activities of Ein Bustan.
The association was established at the initiative of Irena Wachendorff, a Jewish musician, poet and music teacher , who is a long-time friend and supporter of Ein Bustan. The association will serve as a focal point for donations from Germany, and the members are planning fundraising activities such as poetry readings, concerts, and performances.
Ein Bustan Germany was founded by a diverse group with members from three religions and different professional backgrounds: Lamya Kaddor, Leyla Ben Djemia, Achim Huithaus, Barbara van Liempt, Christiane Schuricht, Bettina Ungerer and Irena Wachendorff.
